Thoughtful Supervision for Developing Clinicians
Healing Servant Team offers supervision for associate-level clinicians who are seeking thoughtful, grounded support as they grow in competence, confidence, clinical identity, and ethical clarity.
My hope is to offer supervision that helps clinicians strengthen not only their clinical skills, but also their capacity to think well, stay grounded, and develop into therapists who can hold the work with steadiness, humility, and care.
The Relationship Between Supervisor and Supervisee
I believe the supervisory relationship matters deeply. Just as therapy is shaped by the quality of relationship, supervision is also influenced by whether a clinician feels respected, supported, challenged, and safe enough to be honest about what they do not yet know, where they feel uncertain, and what is being stirred in them by the work.
My intention is to create a supervisory space that is warm, thoughtful, and grounded in trust, while also being clear, accountable, and growth-oriented. I want supervision to be a place where clinicians can bring questions, cases, uncertainty, emotional responses, and ethical concerns into a relationship that supports both reflection and responsible development.
A Somatic, Attachment-Based, and Trauma-Informed Lens
My supervision is shaped by a trauma-informed, somatic, and attachment-based lens. I believe clinicians benefit from understanding not only what is happening in a case conceptually, but also what may be happening in the body, nervous system, relational field, and deeper attachment dynamics of both the client and the clinician.
This lens helps supervisees think more fully about regulation, safety, relational patterns, trauma responses, pacing, boundaries, co-regulation, and the use of self in the therapy room. It also supports clinicians in becoming more aware of how their own histories, nervous systems, and relational tendencies may influence the work in both helpful and challenging ways.
